she has twice jumped up and caught birds alive and unharmed off the bird feeder.

LOL! She's so cute! I just love that chocolate color!

Where are y'all catching the connecting flight?

At this point, I'm almost not sure! They switched the flights over and over and over...which is why I'm worried that one of us will end up on a different flight. One of them was purchased separately from the other two tickets.

Travelocity says Charlotte, NC...so I'm guessing that's it. It's what it says in the "saved itineraries".

She did ask what she could send. Perhaps something dessert-ish that will travel well. So, we'll come with something.

Dang! I hate she can't come, but dessert is ALWAYS welcome! The kids are looking forward to meeting Jr., and playing on his PS2! ;o)

I'm looking forward to meeting your two - I almost feel like I know them!

I've been muttering "Escaflowne" under my breath for the past few days. I won't sleep well until it's packed.

she was a nitwit!

I heard both of them. The first one loved Bill Clinton, and the second one couldn't think of anything George W. Bush had done for this country other than get us into a war, which she thought he was just itching to do, by the way. Both of them were twits and I'm glad Rush unloaded on them!

Not entirely by coincidence, we named our dog "Samuel Adams Stormhands"...

A good strong patriotic name!

Shelley has actually caught a rabbit. I didn't witness the dirty deed, but my husband did. He had let her out into the yard to "go" - and go she did, about light speed right across the lawn into a thicket, and emerged with a cottontail in her mouth. She proudly brought it back to my husband, who ordered her to "drop it!" She dropped it, and it took off running. I'm afraid Shelley doesn't mind my husband the way she minds me, and she took off after the rabbit again, and this time kept running with it in her mouth. She doubled back to him after he called her 2-3 times, and by that time Mr. Rabbit was quite dead, whether from fright or bite. (Shelley was very peeved that he took the rabbit from her and buried it in the back behind the fence.)
