Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Yeah, it bums me out that we won't be able to make it. But, it can't be helped.
To: Overtaxed
hehehe....
I know what I'd say to a payroll rep who called and told ME to wait.
And it wouldn't be very nice either.

Heh, are you really willing to put up with a bunch of Elves? And how much room do you have, anyway?

Cooler than 1?
I'm going to have to see it then.
Yes, Wolverine is his own spin-off comic book now.
Has been for awhile.
In X1, he was knocked out by Sabertooth using a treetrunk.
In the comic book, that wouldn't happen.
He and Sabe's would've gone to 'claw city'.
In the comic boks he's been shot, poked with swords, spears, arrows, blown up, and run over with a steamroller (Punisher/Wolverine crossover aways back).
And in the comicbooks, Wolverine and Magneto scrapped at each other a few times without Wolvie's skeleton being bent up.
It was in an X-Men series that he had the 'Adamantium' pulled from his skeleton.
*chuckle*
Have a warm place in my heart for the character, he's always being called "runt" because he's supposedly short like myself.

I thought he only got knocked out in the movie because he was still recovering from the fiery crash thing.

As fer travel plans and airport pickups: Jr. and I are leaving here after school on Thursday. We'll drive as far as we can, but I think it's about 12 hours. So we'll likely stop and sleep. May even get a room. But we could probably work it out to hit the Orlando airport around 2-ish if that's necessary. Ooh...that'd be awesome.
Guess we can confirm as we get closer. I'll have two siblings with me...which means still more passengers.
To: Darksheare
Where do you get these comic books? And would they be appropriate for an 8 year old?

In the comic books he's been through worse than that and not been knocked out.
So I was minorly upset over that bit of deviation from the 'canon' of the character.

What time's OT coming in? Because you three are coming in just after WN and me. We may have to have multiple vans... and we don't know when Hair et al are arriving yet...
