Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

http://www.nausicaa.net/miyazaki/howl/ Yeah, It's coming out later this year. people are saying its going to be pretty. My brother John said he read the book and thought it was good, I haven't seen it around here yet though.

I can't remember what I scored...just that I did great at just about everything but mechanical...which I did HORRIBLE at. I don't have a clue about cars...though I have more of one now than I did then.
They were encouraging me to go into electrical.
Bilbo...I'd say go for it if you can...but also remember that the recruiter guy got Ben all worked up about coming in and it was only after a lot of checking and exams that they finally said they were wrong and he wouldn't be able to go in with his eye sight. But...it sure would be a good thing if it WOULD work out.
I've been busy all day. Did I miss anything?

Thanks. It might be good. The book certainly was. I'm just having trouble with the whole concept.
FR's awfully slow, isn't it? Once you push "post", it usually takes, though, and if you click again you'll get duplicates.
Ask your sister about the emergency back-up site we use when FR goes down, sometimes.

The Corps was allowing Battalion commanders to purchase small handhelds fer use at the fireteam/squad level...
the only issue I have with these is the lack of ComSec/ICOM... anyone can listen in, and despite what the orderes are, troops still pass classified info in the clear... it's inevitable... all the bad guys have to do is listen...
the Corps now has models that are scrambled, but these aren't what we'd be able to buy...
in Somalia, with the communications problems of dealing with other countries forces, we stopped using crypto... we learned some hard lessons because of it...
It does suck that they got some junk radios from Audiovox... we tested those P.O.S. a few years back and said not only no, but hell no to those...

FR had a hiccup, I think. Happens sometimes. As long as you're not too near a '000' post, nobody will think you're spamming.

Hi! Don't believe I've seen you around these parts before. Welcome to the Hobbit Hole!
Chaos is something we're rather familiar with... ;-)

My desk is organized chaos.
It's a mess, but I know where everything is...more or less, anyway.
The house is just in chaos.

By the way - Happy Birthday!

Those are some good tips. When I was working with the plastic, I was thinking wax paper might have even been better.
