Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

that's marvelous! How long does he get?Well, this is supposed to be the end for him. He's got orders to be in Alabama in January! YEA!! He is supposed to be receiving a promotion then and will be retiring in 3 years. wow... retirement!
Of course all of that depends on the situation in Iraq and could change. But, with the news today I am hoping light is at the end of the tunnel and he won't have any changes in plans.

Didn't want too much fuss 'bout us!
Prolly this summer - July-ish, when his folks can come up.

The old S.O.B. reminds me of one of the "campers" that 'live in a van down by the river'.Didn't he though?!?! Oh how the mighty have fallen!

He is supposed to be receiving a promotion then and will be retiring in 3 years. wow... retirement! That's awesome. Retirement in the military is a strange thing. Folks who get out at 20 are entirely too young to be "retired". LOL.
GWB should be on soon. Can't wait to hear what the pres sez.

Folks who get out at 20 are entirely too young to be "retired".No kidding!!! How do ya think it makes me feel to think my son-in-law will be retiring soon?
