They are so icky and stupid. Problem is, lots of people think they're just wonderful.

GOOD A.M. TO ALL FROM THE WONDERFUL MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!

Oh boy, Algore, Mr. Bore himself is talking on TV endorsing Mr. Motor Mouth. Gore sure is a bitter man, I am starting to think he does not even like himself. Sure wish he would stop his 'speech' and go home, he is a bore for sure.

Gonna get close to 80 here today down here, sorry about that you folks 'up there' but they say it will get a little cooler in a couple of days, in the 30's (night).

Gd and Sil were busy yesterday, putting up Christmas outside decorations. I stayed out of helping them, I felt it was a daddy-daughter thing and it sure was a moving thing to watch them through my bedroom window. They tried to get me to help but it was just not the time for me to help.

Coffee is made, toast is getting ready to go into the oven, grits getting ready to be put on the stove and then it is off to the farm to move some cut limbs. I have moved the location of my 'shack in the back' four times and getting ready to move it again today, just can't seem to find the right location for the little house. I am also staking out locations to plant some trees in, four pecan, some plum and pear trees and maybe even a apple tree and some citric trees. No rest for the 'farmers' you know.

Lets all remember to keep OUR President W in our prayers and, our troops who are fighting to keep us safe here in
America. While you are at it, if you see a elderly person today, give them a smile and a 'Hi'. Toby

I love it WHERE he does his boring, right in the back door of ole Thunder Thighs herself. Now, lets see if the Billy Bobs of Washington are going to endorse anyone.

Yes we do have to stick together. :)

It's good to be back ML.

We are in a thunderstorm watch. Hail, wind, lightening and rain.

Our water heater is leaking. Water all over the basement.

Called hubby; he came home; we are mopping;

New heater to be installed this afternoon. $450. Ouch.

I was supposed to go to a Christmas party right about now......but frankly I'm relieved; a 30-mile drive in the fog on the interstate really didn't appeal to me anyway. God works in mysterious ways. If I had left for the party before discovering the leak.........I don't even want to think about it. It's bad enough but would have been worse.

Back to the mop.

I saw a little of the car chase Jane, and was surprised it wasn't in either FL, or CA!!

MozartLover, sorry about the water heater...bad timing, expense wise, but maybe not in the other way you describe.

Hope everyone's okay. Very, VERY GRAY day here...

husband been at home all day, propping his leg, sleeping, doesn't even hurt that much....

Now you may remember I bumped my leg really bad last summer, and it was very sore. Did it slow me down any?? Noooooooooooooo............

Yes. You might also remember that I had flu the same time as my husband. Who do you think made ALL the tea and chicken noodle soup?

Yep.

The Coopster called me today and went on a marvelous 20-minute rant on liberal friends who foist their opinions on us. I wish I had a transcript!

He ended by saying "maybe I will get so fed up that I will get involved in a campaign and teach people how to speak and present themselves!"

Myself, I wish he would run for something. He is very articulate and his high school speech teacher said he was the best extemporaneous speaker she had ever had.
