I've been looking forward to these movies since they started filming seven years ago. I thought the first two were fantastic and walked out of the second literally counting the days to the third. LOTR is one of the finest stories ever told and filled to the brim with conservative values. And now you think I shouldn't go to the third because Viggo turns out to be an airheaded liberal arts major. Exactly who are we seaking to punish?! Viggo is going to get about 1/100 of a cent from my 7 bucks, it'll be decades before somebody tries to make LOTR into movies again if ever and I'll probably be dead by then. No way I'm boycotting it.

not telling you waht to do, just informing Americans of Viggo's traitorous ways...you make the decision where to spend your money...I know where I'm spending mine.

I'm on record as being the bigger person hereThe bigger a$$. I looked at your profile. You are the newbie here. The rest of us have been around quite a while. Our track record is proven, while yours is getting worse with each post.
To: Hegewisch Dupa
that tells me a lot about you, thank you.

more name calling...quite the lady you are.

Bulldadda, the whole point of your post (all your posts plugging your website trying to get people to boycott movies) was telling people what to do. Otherwise why use such an inflamatory title. If you want to just tell us that you were boycotting it the title would have been "Why I won't see ROTK", instead you're straight into attack mode from the first character. You want us to boycott the movie, but against the question is: who are we really punishing? By avoiding a movie filled with conservative values just because one actor in it is a moron we'd do the movement more harm than good.

That was you. Wasn't it? In case you've forgotten. That was on your
"December Movies to Boycott" thread, in response to my comment "Once again, when conservatives can produce anything other than CRAP I might consider this list...Countin' the days until King Aragorn returns..."
Anytime someone disagrees with you and you can't counter their argument, you call them a "DU Troll."
It appears the Boycotter has no clothes...and it ain't a pretty site.

We happen to like catchy titles that catch people's attention. You'd be amazed at how many people out there think people like Viggo are like the character they play in the movies...So bulldadda back at ya.
To: jonalvy44; HairOfTheDog
Since I don't know you, Hair? Does he not know us? I think you met most of us when you posted the other 'Movies to Ban' thread a while back huckstering for your website.

BTW, where do you all stand on the War with Iraq? Since I don't know you, do you agree with it or are you opposed to it? If you took the time to notice fool, the group in the Hobbit Hole has been supporting the war efforts in both Iraq and Afghanstan over the long haul. Since BEFORE you even logged onto FR.
When the PX in Kandahar burned leaving the 82nd airborne without any personal supplies necesary it was the Hobbit Hole who raised thousands to send them the items they needed.
More recently with the advent of war in Iraq, we have supported enough guys that - well, let me just post an excerpt from a recent email from a platoon sergent:
The packages you all have sent have made their way around to every foxhole and soldier out here. The command and the guys and girls I work with all know when SFC [name withheld from DU troll] gets the packages. Actually it is kind of funny. They remark if you all are buying out the stores down there!"
... take that and shove it up your DU arse bub.
To: jonalvy44
You happen to start off the thread by insulting everyone that wants to see the movie. You draw more flies with sugar than vinegar, this is no way to win fans of your site.
Who cares if Viggo is or isn't like the character he plays? Completely besides the point. He plays the character well, the character espouses great conservative values, if Viggo is too stupid to actually understand what he's saying that's his problem not your or mine.

If'n it'll make him feel better, I'll have a T-shirt made for Entmoot that says:
Viggo is a moron
Andy is a fool
And, by the way,
Did you know Ian's gay?
WHO CARES!?
The movie's cool!

so we ran into each other one other time...you seemed to be attacking conservatives in your response. You failed to corrct my mis-assumption, instead attacking me further...Sorry if you didn't make that big of an impression on me...
