Well, Garrison is certainly a fadist but that's part of his homosexual side.

But he is not always imitating everyone else. If you recall the entire episode "South Park is Gay" was about he and Mr. Slave didn't like the fact that all the men had become Howard Dean style "metrosexuals" (I hate that word, it doesn't even make sense) and were copying all of the very things that Garrison and his fellow queers do to differentiate themselves.

But his primary complaint is that it was an inconvenience to him, he no longer could tell who the gay men were so he could hit on them. Garrison is an "if it feels good do it" liberal.
