I know that World Net Daily did not intend to be funny here, but.....
It is kind of like the guy who wanted to ban dirty jokes by reciting every single one.

It's a great movie - and Satan is depicted as a homosexual, which ought to give the Bible-thumpers a little something to cheer about.

Ted, if you don't like it, don't watch it. I thought it was hilarious. It is obscene. It isn't anti-Christian.

Well, I dunno. I rented the Adam Sandler animated movie "Eight Crazy Nights" thinking that maybe it would be the Chanukah version of "It's a Wonderful Life" but it was just a stupid, gross, vulgar, obnoxious movie.

I have a simple rule that I apply when watching films on TV. The first time I hear the F-word I just turn the channel. Worked the first time. Works everytime.

I like South Park. I guess it offends nearly everyone, which is one reason why it's funny, I suppose. 'Course I don't have cable and rarely watch TV, so I don't get to see it much.

I caught a South Park episode last night where they HAMMERED Hollywood lefty Rob Reiner, depicting him as a gluttonous liar who would kill (Cartman) to advance his agenda.
The authors of this article need to lighten up.

SOUTH PARK RIDICULES THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH)
'MPAC regrets having to have this offensive picture on site, however it portrays the audacity of the South Park producers, the Prophet (pbuh) is illustrated on the right. '
MPAC receives an outraged e-mail from a Muslim who switched on Channel 4 only to find themselves watching a cartoon featuring the prophets Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them) portrayed as ridiculous super-heroes struggling to defeat David Blaine! It's not funny and it's not clever! Make your feelings clear to Channel 4. The story of the cartoon focused around David Blane, his magical powers and how his cult was going to rule the world. This being the case, some of the characters decided to contact someone who was supposed to be Jesus [Hazrat Isa, As-salaam]. This 'Jesus' decided that the job of outwitting and defeating David Blaine was too much for him alone, so he contacted other religious figures to unite behind him, such as Buddha, the Prophet Moses (as) and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Muhammad (pbuh) was drawn in cartoon form, with a face and speaking role. He carried a rifle and amongst other things was made to fly around shooting fire from his fingers at a statue brought to life. [South Park, 'Super Best Friends' (The David Blaine Special), aired on Channel 4, 10/10/03 at 23.40pm] Is a tiny bit of respect really too much to ask? Will the kuffar soon be using the name of the last prophet (pbuh) as a swear word, in the same way that they already abuse the name of Jesus (as)? Will we stand by silently? Please e-mail Channel 4, describing your feelings and making the following points:
- The episode of South Park entitled 'Super Best Friends' was deeply hurtful to Muslims. (broadcast on Channel 4, 10/10/03 at 23.40pm)
- Yes, we are aware that 'South Park' is intended to be offensive and is certainly not pretending to be a factual representation. But this programme was deliberately offensive to all Muslims by subjecting no less than three of their most respected prophets to ridicule [Moses (as), Jesus (as) and Muhammad (pbuh)].
- To Muslims it is very important never to make any pictorial representations of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It is therefore very upsetting for Muslim viewers that in this programme Muhammad (pbuh) was drawn in cartoon form, with a face and speaking role.
- The cartoon portrayed Muhammad in a ridiculous and offensive manner. He carried a rifle and amongst other things was made to fly around shooting fire from his fingers at a statue brought to life. To ridicule the prophet Muhammad is infinitely more hurtful to a Muslim than any insult that could be directed against them personally - The Qur'an says "the prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves" (33.6).
- Channel 4 should have been aware of the hurt this would cause to Muslim viewers. This programme demonstrates a complete lack of respect on the part of Channel 4 and the programme's makers. Channel 4 consciously chose to trample on the feelings of Muslims in the name of entertainment. Is this how much they respect their Muslim viewers?
- There is no excuse for this, and those responsible should not hide behind anti-censorship arguments - Muslims have no objection to people expressing disagreement with the teachings of the prophets. But to ridicule these deeply loved figures is totally gratuitous.
- Channel 4 should apologise for the offence caused to its Muslim viewers and should review its policies to ensure that in future it shows greater sensitivity and respect.

It wasn't on in primetime, it was like 2 o'clock in the morning, any little kiddie up at that hour has some more serious problems than dirty language on Comedy Central.

What's he doing up watching TV after midnight anyway! Ever since "Girls Gone Wild" has been taken to court, there hasn't been anything to watch on late night that would make me feel like I was getting my money's worth out of those church confessional booths.
