IG-I can relate about the lost crystal trees. I purchased a 32 inch Santa a few years ago, on sale a few days before Christmas. I displayed it for a short time that year, then packed it away in a black garbage bag, somewhere, and have been looking for it every year since.

I made the mistake of renting "Two Weeks Notice" this weekend...Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock. Blechtttt! Not only does the movie never develop a reason these characters would be attracted to one another. In their enimical fashion, Hollywood just had to make a political statement.
Bullock plays an activist lawyer trying to save historical buildings from the conglomerate wrecking ball. Hugh Grant is the richy rich owner of the development company. His name is GEORGE WADE (his assistant actually calls him "Mr. Dubya".) He's a creep. All the company wrecking balls have a huge "W" on them, as do his skyscrapers, helicopters, etc. I guess Holy-wood thought subtlety would go over the heads of us little people. Don't waste your time or your money on this one.
(Grant's latest, "Love Actually" is also a big stinker. Saw it Friday night....boring Benny Hill-type humor.)
