About a year ago or so, I was plagued with some really "nasty" symptoms.
Basically, I couldn't breathe and I was gasping for air. My heart was "flipping out" in my chest. It felt like it was skipping nine out of ten beats. My lungs and airways felt like a lit fireplace was burning inside. Please note, for me to have a desire to see a doctor or go to a hospital it is for a good reason as I maintain a super busy schedule.
I checked myself into an emergency room. For what seemed like eternity, all sorts of tests were conducted on me. Tests and machinery that I never knew existed were conducted. My veins were poked, and blood was drawn. The "weird" thing is: throughout the entire ordeal at the hospital not one doctor bothered to ask me any questions about anything at all. With the way I felt, I was convinced that I would need either a heart transplant or a lung transplant as I simply couldn't breathe. Low and behold - all tests proved "negative". Why then, can't I breathe? My heart was still banging around in my chest, missing and skipping beats.

Described it pretty good.
I didn't know I was allergic to MSG until eating at a Chinese buffet (OK, maybe I'm allergic to dog) years ago; they loaded their sauces with MSG and I thought I was having a heart attack - but I was in excellent physical condition. Now if I take in too much, my hearts races and pounds like it's about to come out of my chest; head feels like it's about to launch into orbit; arms get heavy and ache...basically feel like you're about to go.
I can take it in small amounts, but try and find something that it's not in!
MSG is poison. There is nothing good about it, at all.
I think it is aspartame or the sweetenrs in drinks like Pepsi that gives a false indication and symptoms of FM in women.
