When immigrants come to this Country, they need to learn ENGLISH! When we spent 5 years in Germany, all the younger Germans could speak English but refused. WE were a guest in THEIR Country, so WE needed to learn Deutch!

Americans have become too placid. Now I fear that short of a Civil War in this Country, we might all be doomed.

Ominous, She. The only thing I can think of to say is unspeakable. If the balloon goes up, there's going to be a lot of people faced with making a lot of decisions. Including the gummint, who will have to decide what side its going to support if the people take up arms after another attack here. If we're attacked again, the gummint would have failed it's primary responsibility to lead and to protect against enemies foreign. It will then have to follow or get the hell out of the way.
