In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....
osculate \ohs*cue*late\, verb:
osculated, osculates, osculating; transitive, intransitive verb
osculation; noun
deosculate, deosculation; (fondly)
exosculate, exosculation; (vigorously)
1. To kiss..
2. Mathematics: To have three or more points coincident with.
3. To come together; contact.
A Plain Old Kiss
Some people need a peck or two;
For others a simple smooch will do;
Too many, a graze will stimulate;
A few may want to osculate.
And then, there are those who need a smack,
For flowery words they have a knack.
But all I want from you is bliss,
Which you can give me with a plain, old kiss!
- Arr. Ara John Movsesian Etymology [Latin scul r , scul t-, from sculum, kiss, diminutive of s, mouth. See s- in Indo-European Roots.]

Robert's sister-in-law and I discovered we share an interest in history, among other things. We all shared our horror stories about building/remodeling our homes, and got some good laughs over them.

Thanks for the welcome. I live in Ventura California much of the time. I am home now. Back to Malaysia in Jan. The internet makes life overseas much more tolerable.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Actually, I was going to do something different this year, and roast Jesse Jackson. But I settled on turkey, as I was afraid that he might spit on the apple....
To: Texan5
Whoever his "church" is... they won't throw him out because he remains - despite his fraudulent reputation - a huge cash cow.

Get stuffed? Isn't this a family site? ;^)
To: TheGrimReaper
That was a good article Grimmy.........hey, happy T-Day to ya!
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
Likewise, Whyisa.
Do they celebrate Thanksgiving in PA?
Or just get plastered and cheer for the Steelers?
To: Argh
I was up at 8am Mister! I had to put that turkey in the oven......then I went back to bed.......lol
To: secret garden
You know, all this complaining about Mr. Spanky...... puts me in mind of "she doth protest too much"....... ;^)
To: xsmommy; secret garden; Robert A. Cook, PE
With all of Robert's porn links that same thing happens to me.......my son will be walking by and ask me what I"m looking at! lol
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
LOL
I think jealousy may be rearing its ugly head, there.
Perhaps SG would relish a good spanking... the pantsless variety, of course. 8-]
To: TheGrimReaper
Well all of my neighbors think the iggles are the ONLY team in the universe.....of course I don't speak Philly so I can't understand them at all...........
But my family celebrates by watching the Cowboys......
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
Yes, I'll make the sacrifice and watch the Cowboys today.
BTW, for the first time this season, the Texans are actually favored over Atlanta this Sunday!
Go figger.
To: TheGrimReaper
Really? Go Texans!

I am reliably informed this is how one starts a family. I think it's disgusting.

That is your fantasy not mine. You should be thankful you're not close enough for me to smack you. ;)
