The smoke has cleared, and although some bars are hurting, complaints have fallen off

Nurse Bloomberg's smoking ban is being blamed for the GOP threatening to house everyone on party boats at the convention next summer. Way to go, a-hole! Screw over all those hotels, restaurants and other businesses which depend on tourist traffic!

I have complete understanding of non-smokers wishing for smoke-free environments, howeverI still disagree with government imposed bans. The market should decide - if there is enough call for them owners are generally smart enough businessmen to go with the flow.
