think someone should give you the entire history of this forum. It is quite unique.

I'm not an oldtimer here...I came over as a lurker from TOS when the original group made their break...
As I remember it all, tomkat started up the thread...They floundered around a bit trying to find a theme and after a while came up with the 'Roadkill Cafe'. One night palo verde was trying to keep the thread going by herself, so I signed up and tried to help her out...Somewhere along the line the term 'Freeople' came about....
Palo got driven off the thread by people still posting here...tomkat left because of that episode and others drifted away not liking the atmosphere at the time...
The thread drifted along, slowly going down hill...Finally joined up with another thread called 'The Dimensional Door. That is about where we are today.....

Others will probably disagree, but the above is my version
