I believe you are correct, Mo. Most half my family and friends are on antidepressants of some type. They go to the family physician with any problem, and they are so apt to put them on antidepressants if they can not readily diagnose.
Over a year ago, my brother went to the local physician with complaints of numbness in his body. After tests, he was told it was all in his mind and was prescribed antidepressants, which he took. Now, after a terrible crisis, he awaiting word on whether he has MS or not. I say, beware of the docs who give them out like candy.

Now, after a terrible crisis, he awaiting word on whether he has MS or not Oh WOW ... see it's stories like that that bother me
I can't tell you how many times I was told it was all in my mind
I may not have known at the time what it was .. but I knew enough to know I wasn't making it up and went to another doctor to get the real answers
Like the time I had the cyst in my ear drum .. it took a few doctor appointments .. but I finally found a doctor that would pay attention

Westy, you are on a roll tonight. I am still trying to figure out why the same people who shudder at the mention of 'militia' are calling for a bloody revolution. I mean, who do they think are going to revolt? LOL
To: westmex
The girls are too stupid to know if the bucks measured up and the bucks don't care .. they got some

Many complain of a double standard for adults were careful to sheild the young from the shady side of life!
Now children are given leathal doses of this to their tender minds and ended up being worthless at the young age 20 if they lived that long!
We don't reside in a perfect world but I guess what it was like in the 50's was the happy medium.

Like I said .. I'm not a specialist and I wouldn't be surprised about health issues being on these drugs
But there are some people .. whether they are kids or adults that do have chemical imbalances that need some kind of help .. I know a couple people that need them.
The others .. they need to just get a life

In the early 50s I was involved in another war that solved nothing....Got a few more guys killed than the one we have going on now, but we are still lined up facing one another...50+ years and what have we gained???? Are we going to be playing around 50+ years from now with Islam????
......Westy.....
To: westmex
We will always be lined up against our enemies...they just change faces. And that is in the natural order of things.
To: Conservababe
I don't shudder at the word 'militia', but most of the ones that sprang up after Ruby Ridge and Waco were jokes...A bunch of beer gutted clowns talking tough....I'd hate to revolt with the likes of them......

Oh, I see.

There will never be peace in the world, ever. There will always be another fight against another enemy. Now it is terrorists...it came to our door.
To: westmex
I agree those were wasted over-weight slobs!
But I do think one has to remember we are fighting a new kind of enemy! who has no country or uniform, they are cowards.
It is necessary that we keep this enemy abay. some are so silly thinking if we don't go after them they will leave us alone.
I treasure each soldier and pray they come home after their service.
If we as a people were more vigilant in our morals and showed more gradtitude for this nation more blood might not have to be spilled to pay retribution for turning a blind eye and allowing all these weeds to over run us!
