Nope - you are not over-reacting even a little bit...but there's millions of nitwits who are not reacting enough to what is happening to them and their country.
Huge cheers down there.

I was very surprised at the sheer number of our conservatives at FR who could not wait for the feds to take over and save us from this inconvenience. I agree. I purchased one of those Telezappers a few years ago, and it has been well worth the $50 it cost. It is unbelievably rare now for us to get a telemarketing call. I don't need the nanny government telling the big bad telemarketers to leave me alone. I can manage all by my lonesome.

Can we just bring in an ear, or do you suggest a foot also?
Great plan, imo.

Oh.
*Embarrassed, forgot about that one.*
Okers.
It's on the pad now.
Though the UPS driver is wondering why I have him duct taped and immobile.
Will his presence be a problem?

"I sense more dissatisfaction with our government today, than I did three years ago." I think that's because we expected more....and less. More reining in of the liberal agenda and political correctness, more conservative judges, more effort to return to a more traditional America; and less spending, less government control over out lives, less judicial activism. We've gotten neither. While the president has done some good things, he's as drunk on spending our money as any democRAT and the government has grown exponentially under this administration. And we're still being overrun with illegals, and our president wants to legitimize them instead of controlling the problem, which I think is the final straw for a lot of conservatives. I don't like any of the alternatives, so I will stick with Bush, but it really sucks when you have no confidence that your vote means a hill of beans one way or the other and no matter who wins, they're going to do whatever the h*ll they want to anyway.

They get tired of hearing me breathe heavy into the phone, or not stop the real deal to answer the phone.

Well, teh one poor girl started into her spiel only to hear, "Talk dirty to me."
And worse, especially since the conversation wasn't to her.
*snort*
Call at an inconvenient time for me, you'll be inconvenienced with the current real time activities.
Take that telemarketers!

Not advocating giving up.!! But the Conservatives had better get more unified if they want to make any gains. The Left sure can stick together and that is how they make gains ie: Liberal Judges!! The absolute worst thing that the Pubbies have is RINO's. They are more damaging than the Rats. A Conservative President is never sure if he can count on them or not.
To: Darksheare
I haven't had fun with telemarketers for a long time, not since we got the telezapper and the calls stopped coming. Oh well, there's a down side to everything, eh?

"If you don't want pure, unadulterated Socialism, there HAS to be a revolt." I've been saying that for a long time, Lynn, but it isn't a popular theme on this board. It has been in the thoughts of lots of FReepers though. It comes out every now and then.

Ouch.
Yeah, I guess there'd be a downside to that.
I'm sure they have "Outrageous pervert" typed next to my name and number.
That last girl said, "Sir, you're embarrassing me."
*evil chuckle*
I guess I was on speakerphone, because of her statement.
I asked her if it was as good for her as it was for me.

As a soldier, I was sworn to protect, defend and uphold the constitution from any and all enemies both foreign and domestic.
I asked what we should or would do if the government became a domestic enemy.
I was NOT very popular for saying that.
(Especially since it was during Clinton's stench in office, and our Captain was a Clintonoid.)

That's what I mean. The "masses" don't have the stomach to actually revolt!! Blood is spilled in Revolution, however the currency of freedom has ALWAYS been blood.!
To: sweetliberty
Yeah I know Libby. Because it isn't popular doesn't make it any less true.
To: Darksheare
"I asked what we should or would do if the government became a domestic enemy." It is my understanding that that is why we have the second ammendment. Would that we had the guts to exercise it as such before it no longer exists.

We know where the military stands....After all they supplied the choppers and tanks at Waco....
.....Westy....
To: Darksheare
Exactly, people start to choke when it gets to Domestic Terrorists.
To: sweetliberty; Canadian Outrage
I don't think there will be any revolts over lost freedoms as long as people have nice cars, nice houses, plenty of food, big screen TV's and football to watch on those TV's. But hey, I've been called cynical before...

You're right. Slooooowly, the sheep are removing the wool from their eyes and seeing that both major parties are simply the two different sides of the same coin...both about control, power, and subjugation of the people as they march us into the NWO.
