I, for one, am one happy conservative Republican. I am optimistic of our future. We've come a long way...and have further to go in turning the big ship of liberalism in the water.

The Mex police are paid crappy wages even by their standards...To make a go of it they have to take Mordida or the bite...In other words extract bribes from who ever they can...It's the system there and has been for a long, long time.....
.....Westy.....

I think both parties are two sides of the same coin... I'm upset....but not that upset. No....I'm upset.....just can't quite go there.
BTW.....I think that line was invented by BJ during the 92 campaign.
It worked......

In other words extract bribes from who ever they can...It's the system there and has been for a long, long time..... True .. but it somehow needs to be stopped

Youre watching the system from BJ time....I've been watching it from the late 1930s. We have been in a slide since before then....Sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but always going down the slop chute...IMHO...

So did I Cheri. My first real job outside of babysitting was picking strawberries in the 100+ degree heat. I was 13. Both my sister and I had to have jobs, we were just an average family, Mom at home, Dad a Welder, and everybody needed to contribute. That kind of ethic is completely foreign to the young people today. All they know how to do is stick their hand out for a hand out!!

At least she doesn't have a torure rack and multiple feathers and such in the basement to torment people with.

If you don't want pure, unadulterated Socialism, there HAS to be a revolt. I doubt the Sheeople have the stomach for it!
To: westmex
I've seen it for a long time too........just about 30 years less than you....LOL.
Only seriously since Reagan.
I think he helped bring back sanity and American values to the forefront in American life. I didn't see a backwards effect then.....still don't.

THAT typo was my keyboard.
It desperately needs to be soaked with keyboard cleaner spray, repeatedly and thoroughly.
(At leats two cans full..)
I hit the t key, and it didn't respond.
Sometimes does it, sometimes doesn't.
Might have dus inside it.

Reagan was just a blip on the screen..Maybe slowed things down for awhile, but they speeded up again....The net result has always been down...
Can you remember when average workers did not pay income tax? When I first worked at Boeing didn't have to...Now I even have to pay tax on my cremation policy...That is new under W's great tax cuts...Just another reason I want to be dumped off shore outside the jursidiction of the USSA...Bah on all of them.....
.....Westy.....
