But many men are coming into the field now. When my hospital offered a five thousand dollar incentive to sign a three year contract to work, most of the respondants were male nurses.

My niece and nephew are going to school next year to become nurses .. I have 2 other nieces and a sister in law that are already in this field.

As for the tort reform .. President Bush has been trying to address this problem

I sent an e-mail to the W campaign yesterday, because I am really upset with the immigration reform bill,

I'm not happy with it either .. but I know the whole immigration thing is a mess and needs to be addressed some how

"just because they pay for the primary...an open one..they get to call the shots?"

Apparently they think that gives them grounds for changing the rules. I hope this gets out and p****s off enough Republicans and independents to really muck up their primary.

My hope is that we can have our disagreements, and remain friends.

LOL .. if we've made it this far .. we'll survive almost anything

I have been a huge supporter of W. In bringing up the debate he was more than right.

I just don't like his proposal. I think it was wrong and short sighted. I'm open to being shown otherwise, but closing fast.

My immodist proposal is to put 2 divisions on the border with Rules of Engagement stating that anyone crossing our border other than at a valid point of entry is a terrorist attacking.

There are already possibly 8 million illegals here.
I propose offering Bounty Hunters $1,000.00 a head for each one brought in, with a $2,000.00 fine for bringing in a citizen.
All illegals rounded up to be shipped out within 24 hours after a drumhead hearing.
The legislation to state that these actions are not within the revue of the Supreme Court. The no revue deal is in the constitution, but has never been used. It is past time.

Westy, I am laughing so hard at your Baja Wal-Mart. Yes, indeed, they do locate in rural areas.

About the taquitos...I am not sure. You see, I do not own a microwave. So, I put three frozen in the oven at 400 degrees for eight minutes per instructions. Hmmmm, the tortilla browned, but the cheese did not melt. It it supposed to?

I'm actually more upset about the continual spending and expanding of all forms of government. That had some reason while our economy was in the balance and deflating after the "bubble bust" and 9/11. It's time to stop. It was time to stop 6 months ago.

I agree with you on the spending and it needs to be controled big time .. but at the same time .. it's not as bad as it's being reported in the media/press

He scored a major tax cut, new Medicare prescription drug benefits and money for wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. At the same time, the president held the spending that Congress controls to 3 percent growth.

BUSH VS. CONGRESS How President Bush's proposals for 13 spending bills for 2004 compared with the bills approved by lawmakers:

Agriculture: Bush $17.1 billion, final bill $16.8 billion.
Commerce, Justice, State: Bush $37.7 billion, final $37.6 billion.
Defense: Bush $371.8 billion, final $368.2 billion.
Energy and water: Bush $26.9 billion, final $27.3 billion.
Foreign aid: Bush $18.9 billion, final $17.5 billion.
Homeland Security: Bush $28.4 billion, final $29.2 billion.
Interior: Bush $19.6 billion, final $19.5 billion.
Labor, Health and Human Services, Education: Bush $138 billion, final $139 billion.
Legislative branch: Bush $3.7 billion, final $3.5 billion.
Military construction: Bush $9.1 billion, final $9.3 billion.
Transportation, Treasury: Bush $27.8 billion, final $28.1 billion.
Veterans, Housing and Urban Development: Bush $89.4 billion, final $90.8 billion.
Wars in Iraq, Afghanistan: Bush $87 billion, final $87.5 billion.
Totals: Bush $876 billion, final $873 billion.

Trouble is, they have to keep killing people before they are labelled habitual. It's mushy if you ask me.

So the crimals have a quota for killing before they do hard time??
