Geez that sounds like a Canadian sentence. I was watching Court TV the other night and a Canadian man who murdered his wife in New Brunswick, (beat her to death) was charged with 2nd degree murder and given a whole 6 years!!

I'm having real trouble seeing myself voting for a president that thinks it's A-OK to keep the borders open, grant a don't-call-it-an-amnesty-amnesty to everyone who has managed to commit a felony by illegally entering this country, do all he can to provide jobs for everyone except American citizens, supports anal probes of grannies at the airport, while forbidding searching møøselimbs because that would be profiling, gave a huge grant to the NEA, has decided that there are LOTS of jobs that "Americans won't do" and wants to give them to any foreigner who wants them at starvation wages, has done NOTHING to discourage outsourcing, won't impose tariffs...

What does it profit us to win the war on terror, and lose our livelihoods, homes, civilization and future?

At least with a member of the stupid party (or was that the evil party, who can really tell the difference?) as president the conservatives would have the sense to keep an eye on him!

I'm more apt to sit this one out.

I just can't bring myself to vote for my own destruction, either via the slow republican path or the rapid democrat path.

They may both cut my throat, but I'll be damned if I'm going to sharpen the knife and hand it to them.
