I've lived in Mississippi in the old days before folks had AC in their homes and I sweated...Window fans didn't help much....I'd rather be outside in summer than fool aound with windows.....But that's just me...lol..

I lived in Louisiana before AC. Sometimes, in the summer, they wetted sheets and hung them in the doorways of the bedrooms with a fan blowing on them. I guess it was a primative form of air conditioning. LOL But, the heat never bothered me. Still doesn't. My 88 Ford minivan's air conditioning has been out for seven years, and I care not to replace it.

I'm going to an indoor RV show the first weekend in Feburary. Wish me luck on finding the perfect pop-up camper. No, I have no wish for those fancy-dancy motor homes. LOL

My daughter is filling the wagon with food and booze, and is mushing her way down as I post.
Don't worry, I have enough to last if you get here before her.;)
We never run out of booze or food. Al made enough Tacos last night to last a few days for sure...

Hey, I ike that one, gran. I think I just saw that photo (original state) at Fred Miranda's forum website.
To: Conservababe

Ah! That clears that up, and 'splains why Conservababe's hillbilly neighbors are forming a posse to hunt him down...
;^)

Yup.
Just like my neighbors here in Appalachia have a problem with anyone smarter than they.

Oh alright already. Lion....
And speaking of critters, I am disgusted with our City Council. Last night they voted to limit pets in households in the city to four dogs and/or four cats. I only have one pet, but it makes me want to get a dozen cats just to spite this gang of power hungry thugs. Next, they'll be telling us how many children we can have.
To: grannie9
I like it with your treatment better than the original anyway.
To: Conservababe
Why don't they limit how termites, rats, mice, ants, roaches or fleas a household can have?
To: ValerieUSA
how many
