Anyone interested in seeing what a kidney stone looks like? The blue thingie is from the cap off of a gallon jug of milk for scale.

Only a dedicated photographer would take a picture of their own kidney stone.

I don't think anyone else is going to let me take pictures of theirs - but I find it morbidly fascinating.

I've know patients who wanted to save their gallstones and kidney stones...and save them in a jar. LOL

I had my gall bladder removed when I was 23 -- never saw it. The doc said it was packed full of mushy stones.
I am starting to gross myself out....

Nice!

Speaking of death, IncrediMail decided overnight that it was time to return to Times New Roman...

Dang it all - dare I delete TNR from the Fonts folder?

What if it decides that WingDing is the necessary font?

I have chronic kidney stone disease - but it only becomes a problem a couple of times a decade. This last year was a bad one off and on since spring. Antibiotics, strong pain killer + aspirin and lots of water and rest got me through... I still have another one in the other kidney, but it should be quiet for awhile. *fingers crossed*
