Interesting post since I just watched Scarborough Country on that very same issue. I too, don't understand the President's logic on that one. It really makes it look like pandering to the Latino voters. WHY should somebody be handed Citizenship in the USA that arrived there illegally and are employed illegally. Truly it's nothing short of rewarding law breakers. I'm sorry but I also have some considerable trouble with the Patriot Act also. There was a much smarter way of handling the country's security issues without "trampeling" the constitutional rights of all the citizens.

No kidding. There are more accidents with the drivers of 4 wheel drive than all the other cars. I have owned a Jeep Grande Cherokee and I loved it but I can tell you it still slid on ice.!

Are they NOT the most irritating things. I have pop ups too and they drive me nuts. My brother-in-law downloaded a pop-up stopper and it's worse. It's worse because it keeps trying to direct you to buy the "more advanced" version.

I still have the Suzuki Sidekick I use to tow behind the motorhome....Can't get up my driveway in 2x4, but can in 4X4...Still drive veeery carefully on the flat..lol..

WHY should somebody be handed Citizenship in the USA that arrived there illegally and are employed illegally.

The workers will not be eligible for citizenship, and are supposed to be 'encouraged' to return home later, but they can have their families with them.
Their children born here will automatically be citizens, nothing we can do about that, it is in the constitution, and once they have citizen children they are not ever gonna have to leave.

Permits should only be available at consular offices in Mexico, not in the US.

I went to Labor Ready at 5:30, they said they had a big job - 4 10 hr days - coming up at 10:00. At 1:00 we finally got to go to the job site, we'd be hanging little bottles of tequila from big bottles of tequila. Cute little leather nooses, no bottles. *sigh* They sent up home with 2 hrs pay for showing up.

I cleared a whopping $12.56...

The Republican Congressman that was on Scarborough that is opposed to this immigration matter stated that if they were already working here and contributing to the general economy that the plan is to issue them a "green card" right away. After that, you KNOW they aren't goin back. The kid thing also is so true.

That's pretty pathetic. I guess they just want to "test" those that are "willing" to work at anything to see if they are fit to recommend for better jobs. I still think you should work for Ahnold!
