We just finished steak and potatoes and corn for dinner with sparkling apple juice.
Now Garrett has disappeared.
I do have a bottle of champagne for myself later.

Simmer at least 2 hours, even though they are technically done in 20 minutes, it takes that long for the flavoring Cool .. I got all of the above
And this all go in one pan .. right??
Just want to make sure ... you know me a cooking *L*

I have never been one for going out on Ner Years Eve. Same here .. we got a bunch of movies for us and the kids
The kids are watching their stuff now .. and it's very very quiet here

Oh hell no.. We just got thru playing cards.. and now we're listening to all the fireworks going off all over the neighborhood.. and listening to old Country and Western CD's.. It's a nice warm evening and all the doors and windows are open.. It's getting pretty noisy out there, which is great! Al just got out of the Hot-tub.. and I sliced the Avacado for the soup..
Hell, I haven't made New Years in at least four years.. It was the last time we had the whole family sleep over in NH.. and we were cooking steaks in the kitchen fireplace at midnight.. ..........and drinking Bloody Mary's at six the next morning... :( Don't think we'll do that this year.. lol.

No firesworks here .. At midnight they sound off the Fire Alarm from the Fire House that is down the street from me
There may be a few firecrackers shot off later, but other then that it's usually quiet around here

Yes.. actually they do.. but they suck.. The best ones to cook are the ones you get at the Grange Store.. They are called Cattle Beans.. Now those suckers are goooooooooooood.. Big chunks of onions.. salt pork.. and good old New England Maple Syrup and Molasses... and about ten other things.. lol
