My father inlaw retired years before my mother inlaw .. she retired about 2 years ago .. it lasted about 3 months before she went and got herself a part time job .. she said all the togetherness was driving her nuts .. LOL

My mother always said she married my father for better or worse, but not for lunch.
After he retired, he got himself a small office and spent his days either there or at the Country Club.

OK .. I FINALLY got around to baking bread in this machine ..

It looks fine .. even smells fine .. BUT I can't get it out of the Dang tub

Got any hints you can offer??

Hey People, sh*t happens in life..I had buried my Dad and Mom before I was 21...A wife and 2 kids before I was 64.....You don't choose the hand you are dealt, just play it as best you can....My 2¢s for what it's worth....

That is true West .. I've had to deal with that hand many times myself .. but sometimes it is harder for some to deal with the loss of loved ones then it is for others.. which is very understandable.

I figured out how to get the dang bread out of the tub and it tastes pretty good

Now I passed that test .. maybe I'll try something with more flavor to it

No Westy s**T don't happen some things are just a apart of life everyone has different mazes and puzzles to figure out!

You can look at the glass half empty or half full and you both are right and also one goes through life sad and angry and another goes through life thankful and hopeful.

The one who is pissed off has a miserble life and the one who keep on keeping on had a contented life for they were out there making things happen not bitching there way through it!

I'm not sure why some folks do .. maybe it's because I grew up watching my mom deal with things .. she too use to say that about the hand we are dealt .. maybe it was because she had so many people counting on her that she couldn't put things on hold

I do know that my older brothers had a very hard time dealing with my father's death ... while we were at the hospital with mom, they made a couple comments about how they never got a chance to say goodbye to my dad and that they never had closure.

In all honesty, I didn't really understand that, my dad had cancer for 5 years, they knew he was dying, why would watching him die bring closure?

Oh well .. maybe I'm thinking to much

Sometimes it helps others to know they aren't alone and that others have been through also.

I don't think there is anything wrong in talking about the loss of loves ones .. but I do agree we shouldn't put our lives on hold forever because they are gone.
