Gee, I hope some of them are hungover from drinking.. I had too much to eat to even get close to rocky.. ;)
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... If you don't enjoy the Holidays at your age, what in the heck are you going to feel like at mine?
I lost interest in Holidays, when I finally realized that all they meant was work...lol.
To: Conservababe; grannie9
LOL!
I learned to hate the holidays because they meant mustached female relatives kissing and pinching your cheeks-plural.

You know what I really think? I think people are in a sort of Limbo.. waiting for bad news.. That Code Orange did something to our Psyche.Think Positively
I don't think any of us are living in target zones. They aren't gonna waste an attack on any place that isn't instantly recognizable by name worldwide.
If they succeed in striking, we can step in aggressively and scoop up some real estate bargains in the afflicted area.

*Egads* No.
I just trimmed it so it's prickly and itchy in it's own right.
JUST the perfect revenge for the mustached aunts who kiss and pinch cheeks.
"Ow! Your mustache hurts!"
Unfortunately, I also have to hear that now from the missus.
*sigh*
I cannot win.

They wouldn't dare target you, Nully!
I got the macadamias that Cheri sent. Will you be wanting a sample of the GOOD cookies?

I've been baking all day. I don't ever want to see any more cookies!
Cheri, the nuts are wonderful and the cookies are turning out pretty good, even a little extra nutty because I used all of them. I consider myself a pretty good cook, but I gotta admit, that is a hard cookie to get to turn out just right. I think it is because the white chips are greasier than the chocolate ones.

Good thing Silicon Valley is safe, then... If the area was formally named "Silicon Valley" it might be a target, but people in Indonesia or Bangladesh or Nigeria are not gonna react to an attack on San Jose or Sunnyvale. The Golden Gate Bridge is a possible target, but you ought to be far enough away to avoid damage from anything but a dirty nuke.

Which terrorist organization do we blame for this horrible flu? Two nights in a row I've woken up with the chills rattling my teeth despite two comforters. Of course my skin is hot and dry while I am freezing. Takes a couple of ibuprofen and 20 minutes before I stop shivering.
I medicated myself heavily and felt pretty good, so I visited a friend last night --- poor guy. I think he already had the flu last month....

Well...
Something can be said for convincing someone into doing something they don't want to do.

I heard from Loddy yesterday. His computer has been repaired, but it won't load the SBC/Yahoo DSL stuff for the internet. I dropped off my disk to him last night (just put it in the mailbox - he was gone) and it didn't work for him either. So, he'll have to take it in for further repairs, but the shop was closed today. He also needs to travel north with his brother to look after his dad again, so it may yet be awhile before we see him back online. Meanwhile, he's getting a lot accomplished around the house. :)
To: ValerieUSA
Oh man, he's got about as much luck with tech as I do?
