Well, Christmas is over for me. We always celebrate and open presents on Christmas Eve. I am told it is an Irish tradition. We had the usual buffet food that I cooked, with the main dish being real country ham and biscuits.
My grandaughter melted my heart tonight. She is five years old. After we sing Christmas caroles, including Partridge in Pear Tree, which we all take a verse, I read the Christmas story from Luke. As I was reading tonight, she evidently got tired of all the bigs words. So...she says...let me tell it...Gram Graham.
And she did. She says that Mary and Joseph went on vacation and they could not find a motel. So, they had to go to sleep in a barn. Then when Mary's baby was going to come out of her stomach, Joseph could not find a doctor. So, an angel came and was the doctor. He also told the sheppards and the three kings. Then they all brought presents to baby Jesus.

Hey all .. checking in before I TRY and finish wrapping the rest of Santa's gifts
What a day .. We made the arrangments for mom's funeral on Saturday and I managed to replace the gifts that Mike let the kids buy the other day .. and I totally forget that Jessie had to sing in the choir at church tonight .. but I managed to get her dressed and ready in time.
I'll try to pop back later after I get things caught up with all the wrapping
Merry Christmas Y'all

Goodnight all
A woman, (probably blonde), goes to the Post Office to buy stamps for her Christmas cards.
She says to the clerk, "May I have 50 Christmas stamps?"
The clerk says, "What denomination?"
The woman says, "Heaven help us. Has it come to this?
Give me 6 Catholic, 12 Presbyterian, 10 Lutheran, and 22 Baptists."

I am SO sick of those people. If we had any sense of self-preservation left, we'd be running their *$$*$ out of the country, not placating them and giving them influence in Washington.
