The reason for the street cloths was part of the play/show
It's the 50th Jubilee Year of our Parrish and in the play/show this year, they were looking back through the years of our Parrish and all the things that brought us together (the Parrish)
Every year at the end of the show they end with Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus and everyone .. including the audience singing Holy Night

The world is going through many uncertainties and one of the fond memories I had was when I was a kid and the wonderful times getting to gather with families and friends and all the carefree spirit of goodwill! IMO .. the liberals are so full of hate that they want everyone else to to be as miserable as they are

That was the first thing that came to mind looking at that pic.
I've seen animal behavior similar to this before, but about a blue jay outside rather than a squirrel.

We have this one squirrel that my dog just hates
This dog has a hard time getting her fat rear end moving ... but when she see's that squirrel .. she runs so fast that she forgets the fence is at the end of the yard
And of course the Squirrel teases her by running back and forth along the top of the fence

"I really feel like I am being robbed by these selfish mean souls of the human race!" That is exactly how I feel. Just the other day I was thinking to myself, "they've stolen Christmas." Every year that harsh reality becomes clearer. Until this year, I least I was able to seek quiet refuge at church to celebrate Christ's birth with fellow Christians, but now I don't even have that. Since now the church has been officially taken over by queers, they have now stolen that too. So this year, I will just stay home, remember Christmas in my heart, think about my family and be thankful when it is over.

Oh, that squirrel would pay.
Sounds like the one that used to taunt my father's indoor outdoor cat NiMh.
It would creep up to NiMh while he was sleeping and check him out, then pop and run when NiMh woke up.
Note the past tense...

I'm gonna sound like Sen Kerry and say F'em
I've decided they are not going to take Christmas away from me or my family .. which is one reason why I'm so obnoxious with the Christmas lights
You know what .. every year .. more and more neighbors put up lights ... they too enjoy the found memories of when they were kids and want to keep having found memories
And this year I am hearing about more people fighting back to keep displays and songs for Christmas.
Now people are starting to realize that they too have rights and the ACLU are nothing but bullies.
Yes, we still have a long fight .. but there is hope
