How do you get rid of it?
I have used spybot in the past, but that has not worked with this.

No, it will not work with Gator because you have given them permission to get pop-ups. Check what you have downloaded in the past twenty four hours and you might get a clue.

Which one should I try? You've linked 3 things, one of which (spybot) I have and is not working with this.

Guess what...I don't remember how I got rid of it. I had an ugly encounter with this a couple of years ago.
Maybe So9 can help. At least you have probably identified the culprit. But, you have given it permission, see?
To: Windshark
I use all three
And yes I am paranoid .. I do have a pre-pre teen

I think what I did with the gator thingy was to go look at my zone alarm log and then figured what was getting a lot of hits
Then I had zone alarm block those hits and then had to search out those program and delete them
I also do the searches with spybot and pestpetrol to get other stuff and have them deleted

Wow, I am impressed. I think now that I just deleted the programs I had downloaded lately when I had the problem with Gator. I have a pop-up zapper, but I did not realize it had a log. hmmmmm
To: Windshark
I ended up with gator once. I used the Uninstall from the Control Panel, and found the program in the list the pops up. If I remember, I also had to do "find" for files to finally clean them all up.

He should give it some coffee.
Or at least a bloody Mary.
I have a big lizzard in mine, apparently. If I have to close another ad for Netflix DVD rentals I might lose it big time!
