Well, off to see the three year old grandson in his Christmas pageant. We are betting whether he will run off the stage or suck his thumb. Maybe he'll surprise us and actually sing and dance. LOL

Well, I appreciate the thought Cheri, but the cookies are already in the oven. Yes, I like the raw, unsalted ones. I could probably find them in Little Rock (maybe), but I wasn't about to make a special trip up there.

Got the last batch out of the oven. They taste okay, but I'm not so happy with these. They needed better macadamias, and probably a little less shortening to compensate for the extra greasiness of the white chocolate.

A U.S. soldier of the Fourth Infantry Division climbs out of the spider hole, in which Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) was hiding when he was captured by U.S. troops on Dec. 13, during a media visit to the farm near Tikrit, December 15, 2003. 'I'm Saddam Hussein, I'm the president of Iraq (news - web sites) and I'm willing to negotiate',' he was quoted as saying by Major Brian Reed, of the Fourth Infantry Division which captured him. (Reuters Tv/Reuters)

Top members of Iraq (news - web sites)'s Governing Council said Monday Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) should be tried by Iraqis but that there should be some form of international involvement in the process. Abdelaziz al-Hakim, president of the U.S.-appointed Council, cited the special tribunal set up by the Council last week as the proper court for a trial which many believe would lead to a death penalty. This Reuters graphic shows the 'spider hole' that hid Saddam Hussein before he was captured in Ad-Dawr, a small town outside of Tikrit. (Reuters Graphic)
