Reminds one of Glo Fish!

Fluorescent zebra fish are shown in this undated photo released by 5-D Tropical and Segrest Farms. The nation's first genetically altered household pet _ a fish that glows in the dark _ is set to begin appearing in stores next month everywhere except perhaps California, the only state with a ban on lab-engineered species. Egads, come to think of it you're right.
Sharks would go straight for them.
Especially at night.

hehehehe

I was actually thinking of "Finding Nemo". Spiderboy loves that movie. It's also where Mt. Wannahockaloogy comes from.

"California, the only state with a ban on lab-engineered species."

Hey!
That's discriminatory towards bio-engineered creatures!
That's offensive to bio-tech critters everywhere!
California isn't being PC!

THE SUPREME COURT TRASHES THE 1ST AMENDMENT
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=106&u=/nypost/20031211/cm_nypost/thesupremecourttrashesthe1stamendment&printer=1

When it comes right down to it, who really needs the First Amendment anyway?

Great article by Crichton, Swervie...bookmarked to send to friends.

I'm going to send it to several of my new-found astronomer friends down here...that should get a reaction.

This thread is not going to refresh until we hit some huge number that crashes the system...Nully says that it's 2 to the 64 power, or some such factor.

No new threads here.

Cheers.

WEll..
It's basically been abridged anyway.
There's free speech as long as it's offensive to conservatives, but should it offend libs..
"The law prohibits the use of "soft money" - large, unregulated donations to political parties from corporations and unions." That part was okay, that has nothing to do with free speech.

"More significant, the law forbids "issue ads" that mention a candidate by name within 60 days of a general election and 30 days of primaries.
In essence, this means that just when voters want information the most - even if it is from an interested party - they won't be getting it."
THIS PART is the killer.
