We bought a better camera, loaded the software, got it to work, and haven't had the time to figure the &*U#*(*%$^& thing out yet.

I got THIS one. Says it's for beginners, and had good reviews. I've been taking photos with mine, but nothing special, and need to learn a whole lot more.

The New Agers (and some others) believe you create your own surroundings and environment and all cause and effect.

Everything you do (including thread killing) is your fault because you willed it so. Most people will things unconsciously. This is how you kill threads in absentia.

Yep - the "less bad" concept is for weak minds, and no action types...the if it's inevitable, just lay back and enjoy it, sort of thinkers.

I'm going long into .223 and .45ACP cartridges as my personal hedge against our future.

Hubby bought me a Nikon Coolpix 5700. It's got a whole lot of menus and functions that I haven't mastered yet. I'm just running the basic functions right now, but know i can do better. I haven't been doing much photo editing, just a little cropping and color correcting. I need to learn to use the photo editing software. Sometimes I think I'm getting to old to learn new stuff!

What camera did you get? It sure is a lot more complicated to learn than my old Pentax ME Super. Which I still use, btw. I used it to take photos at my sister's wedding in November, and they turned out well.

Thanks so much for asking. No, she is not much better, although her fever came down. Finally, she threw up twice, which makes me think it is a virus or the flu.

Okay, did I tell everyone that I am mad? Yes, I still am. When my daughter came here early from work, I told her what the stupid school nurse said. She called her and asked some questions, such as, did you take her temp. The stupid school nurse said that she did...and that her temp was perfectly normal. Oh yes, right, and ten minutes later it was 103.5? Our school district is cutting teachers positions because of a budget crunch. I am going to suggest that they cut the school nurse, instead. Heck, they think all they have to do is keep track of immunization records and give sex education classes. If a child is really sick...well, they just cannot cope.

Did I mention that I was really mad? LOL

We have a Canon from about three years ago....G something or other. It worked nicely, took fairly good pics on automatic.

We just got a Digital Rebel that will allow us to do some pretty amazing things. We just don't have the time right now to practice and experiment.

I'll just boot up tomorrow and find that sis has busted on me, while I'm absent of course, for most of the night or some such.
Either that or, she's stayed up awhile writing a deplorable poem about what an evil man I was.
