Praying for the Capture of Saddam Hussein

Almighty God, we are taught throughout Your Bible that You are a God of Justice. It is because of this that we pray this simple prayer. We believe that Saddam Hussein is a past murderer and that he is still involved in murder. We pray that out of Your Divine Justice that You would enable him quickly to be captured and brought to the Justice that You decree.

We pray for your Divine intervention, Lord. Strip Saddam of his hiding places and of his support.

We pray this in the name of eternal Justice, in the name of Jesus.

We also pray this special day for all of our soldiers. We especially pray for those warriors who are the Gideon's army within our army. Grant these believers special insight so that Saddam might soon have judgment executed upon him. We especially lift the name of General Boykin and those he influences in the intelligence community in this great spiritual conflict. We pray this in Jesus' Name; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

How long, Lord, will the murderer, Saddam Hussein, continue his murders? In his lair he plots the death of innocents. With his stolen fortune he pays for murders. We pray that You bring his travesty of Justice to an end.

We bring the case of Your enemy, Saddam Hussein before You. We pray that very soon he would be placed under Your feet. Make it so that he will be soon captured and have justice executed upon him.

Lord God, all the earth praises Your name. And on our Lord's Day sabbath we pause, according to Your example, and spend time specifically to worship You and to participate in Your rest.

Yet there are those who steal peace from the earth with their murders and their thefts. We pray that You bring them all to Justice. Especially, Lord, we pray for the soon capture of the murderer Saddam Hussein and for the execution of Justice upon him.

We pray that churches throughout America would reject him and those who, like Hillary Clinton, Jacques Chirac, and Howard Dean, support Saddam Hussein with their anti-American propaganda. We pray that you silence these evil ones who would destroy the morale of our troops, our troop families, and our nation.

Stand up for Your people, O Lord.

LORD, I agree in prayer with my brother, xzins. I would only add that you would bring to light the things that are done in the dark there in Iraq and surrounding nations. Expose the evil that our warriors may go after it and put them under foot.
