For the sake of the unborn, for other issues of our nation, a great weight is on my heart for serious changes with our Supreme Court. Yes, I was listening to a Fox reporter talking about over a million people he had killed and for some reason I immediately thought of abortions. What is the difference between killing babies and what SH had done?

Here's a Praise the Lord bump for your 170, xzins. Following your lead on the next assignment. There are many worthy ones suggested posted here above, but I recommend that we keep our focus narrow. Our Father will definitely lay the next one on your heart.
Our FAther,
We give gratitude for your gracious answer to our prayers. We demand, according to thy Will that this man who has now been captured be held FULLY accountable before his people for the crimes he has committed. Father, there has been a momentum in the past for defeat to be snatched from the jaws of Victory, by forces who would fritter away the hard-won efforts of those who gave their blood and treasure. Father, seal this Victory, and let not those forces of darkness and evil tamper with it. Let not this man escape Justice. Let there be no 'sweetheart' deals or any other compromise. Certainly, if there is mercy to be granted in the situation, guide the placement of that mercy. Let there be mercy for the Iraqi people who have suffered under his hand.
Father, guide our pastor xzins in the next assignment on which you would have us focus our petitions.
We give all glory of the Victory to you and we thank you for guiding our President and all our military in the achievement of this Victory. We praise you, Father, and in the name of our beloved Saviour, we thank you for this Christmas miracle, and like happy expectant children on Christmas morning, we are looking for the next box under the tree! THANK YOU!!
Amen

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
It is no coincidence that the media are reporting that the U.S. military started receiving much better intelligence about Saddam the past month. Thank you, xzins, for being sensitive to the Lord's leading in this and for exhorting your fellow FReepers to join you in prayer on this matter.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. To God be the Glory, great things He has done.
Many thanks as well to the men of Task Force 21.
God answers prayer.
'If my people who are called by my name will humble themseleves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, ... then I will heal their land.'

I truly believe that our prayers enabled our military to get this important job done. I spoke with a friend this morning (can't go into it), who said that Saddam had more to fear from the Russians than the Americans. No doubt the Russians are regretting not taking Saddam out when they had the chance. Now we we need to pray for every treacherous deed to be revealed and every treacherous enabler (e.g. France, Germany and Russia to name two) be exposed! In Jesus' Name. Amen!

I meant to include you on the above post!

You asked -- and you shall received. Shows that there must be a 30 day lag in the prayer request queue.

Thank you, xzins. A perfect prayer for the occasion. May God continue to bless America, and His faithful servant, our President George W. Bush. Prayers from me for the wisdom of the voters to correct the faithless direction our country has begun to drift in. Men of God for the Supreme Court!

What a blessing we receive when we worship the one and only true God, the Father Almighty; Jesus Christ, his only Son; and the blessed Holy Spirit.
Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is One, and thou shalt love the Lord they God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind.

Now watch the liberal liars of the Nooz media squirm from their recent vile attacks on our President. (not to mention all the posturing that the Dem 'candidates' will have to do)

perzackly!
We must ask the question, "What will win this war once and for all?" What is the enemy's center of gravity (tipping point seems to be preferred recently.)
What will get us closer to that tipping point?
I believe the capture of Saddam moved us closer to that moment when the terrorist enemies are toppled.

What we have to be carefull about is the use of our language. Yes Saddam hussein needs to be put on trial for 'alleged crimes', tried using a fair and balanced judicary that is free from political influence, using a jury of free men and women that decide on the merits of the case. Then if found guilty sentenced by a judge free of political influence and if found not guilty freed. We must also allow him to defend himself paying for his defense if he does not possess the means too. He may in his defense allege that others in the international community including former members of the current US adminstration have aided Iraq in the past, he may or may not prove these allegations. However if we beleive in Justice then all must be looked at and examined. You see that as people who believe in freedom and justice we have to operate under rules that dictators don't. We have to protect liberty even when it is inconvenient ( i know i have spelt that wrong). So lets be carefull how we handle this, or Saddam will become a hero to some.

This is a Christian prayer thread.
Can you put that in the form of a Christian prayer?
