                  | My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky
 I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
 through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
 my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good evening y'all! Hope everyone's snug and warm.
Shoooooey, Colonel_Flagg!!! I feel for ya...all that snow!!! BRRRRR!!!! SAM keeps plenty of coffee hot and ready to keep us all warmed up from the inside. And with luck, there just might be some chok-lit donuts left to nibble on. *giggle*

Oh WOW radu! Fantastic Dragon Fly!!

WOO HOO got that baby saved pronto!

Thank you so very much!!!

Doo, it's 39F here, wind chill, 20F cold and rain, ugh!!

My daughter stopped down for a visit, granddaughter meet a deer with the car. Granddaughter only bumps and bruises thank the Lord, car is gone.
To: bentfeather
Sheesh! Your temps are a little higher than ours but we don't have the winds you have. Ours died down when the sun set this evening. But after 70+ degrees for the past several days, this feels like zero to me. LOL!

I'm glad to hear your granddaughter is ok! Sorry to hear about her car, though. When deer meet cars, the cars usually lose. Sometimes the deer lose....we saw one on the side of the interstate on the way home from Chattanooga this afternoon. So sad. :-(

 it don't mean nuthin'

Yep, that's what you always said
 when you were scared
 when you were lonely
when you were getting shot at
when you saw your buddies die
 when you wanted to cry
when you wanted to come home
 when your love left you
when you were tired of the jungle
 when you couldn't trust anyone
when you wanted just for a shower
 and a warm bed
and when you weren't welcomed home

 it meant somethin'

 Nope, i couldn't comfort you
i couldn't hold you in the night
i couldn't wipe away your tears
 i couldn't make you laugh
 and forget your fears
 i couldn't welcome you home

 Yet i'll tell you boy
 for what you gave
 for what you sacrificed
 it meant somethin allright
 and i'll Never Forget

You're more than welcome. When it comes to folks getting lots of the s-word, I've got plenty of sympathy to give. Hate the stuff!!! Not a winter person at all! LOL!

Hot chok-lit is my preference but if it's cold outside, any hot drink will do.

Brrrrrr, I just got goosebumps thinking about all your s-word.
