My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

My story kind of relates to my
brother's book, but is separate.We
were joking about writing our own
books, but placing some curious bits
throughout the story so our readers
would have to buy both his & mine in
order to understand the little pieces of info.

Yeah, they're good to work on, but
these are new friendships. Things
are going very slow. It's a bit
of stop & go.

Now that may be a good way to sell books. My brothers don't write poetry or I would get them involved in my publishing.

Well, neither he nor myself are going
anywhere with our work, so it doesn't
matter at the moment. Right now we're
just having a laugh anyway.

Yeah, but not going anywhere at
all is rather frustrating. It's hard to
get a conversation started sometimes.
There are some awkward moments.

My little tribute.
Veterans Day
Our country called, they answered,
They risked their lives, their all.
They fought on land, sea, and air,
They saw their buddies fall.
Yet on they fought and they prevailed,
We owe our gratitude.
So give thumbs up, to them, the Vets,
God grant them solitude.
We cant repay all that they gave,
So show them that you care.
They fought for us, to all be free,
Be thankful they were there.

Another band that I like, sis hates it though.
Into Another - 'May I?'
May I Love you madly
like a boy?
Kiss you sadly?
Feed you tears and drink your skin?
Invite myself right in?
May I?
Her
Half-child voice falls on my head like warmest ocean waves
GENTLY and deliberately drowning me
And WILLINGLY I drown.
If I ask politely
Will you watch as I die nightly?
Would you think me TACTLESS if I act LESS like the man I am?
May I?
Her
Half-closed eyes like those,
on a tired TIGERESS.
Gently and deliberately melt my BULLETPROOF MIRRORSHADES
AND
Knowingly
Lovingly
Peer inside at MY REAL EYES
And I can't help but SMILE
No I can't help.
-tigeress-
Would you think me thoughtless
If I thought less of myself from time to time,
Or if I knowingly, willingly lost what's left of my MIND
Oh, I can't help but smile
No, I can't help.

God Bless our Vets on this day
Sometimes it's hard to find the words to say
Thank You for the nights you spend
in foxholes filled with mud and death
for going without so that America
still is the greatest nation in the land
always holding out her hand
to protect those who are repressed
by oligarchy governments bent on
absolute rule in their land and
they think it would
be grand to bring America down
on her knees
and YOU VET-said,
"NO THANK YOU, PLEASE!!"
We love our FREEDOM here you see
and we hate it when others are kept in darkness
left starving and wanting because of evil greed!
We VETS took a stand
to LET FREEDOM RING
through the lands
we did our duty to keep
American FREE.
THANK YOU VETS!

I have the CD and mp3'd the song.
The band is Into Another, album is Seemless, the song is May I?
Really odd band.
Not sure if there's anything online by them.
A couple lyric fraggos by them are:
I'll cry for my dead friends.
They won't have me. (Locksmiths & Lawyers)
And then some broken heroe's hearts are just hard to find spare parts. (Locksmiths & Laywers)
As for my crimes, what can I say? They say they're paid, I say I'm weighted down for the way down. (The Way Down)
It will take more than love to frighten me. I've had a lot of experience in the field. (Mutate Me)
