If a flight attendant really was standing in an aisle, perhaps the identity of that person needs to be confirmed by authorities...and investigated? Oops. Excellent point. Since when do the flight attendants stand in the aisle during take-off? Hmm...

I can't stop thinking about this, and especially since there has been noting made of this in the media...who the heck would have been standing? Flight attendants are seated during the initial ascent. And given the fact this one passenger seemed to be aware of a problem with the plane, most flight attendants would have surmised the same, and remained in their seats. Especially given the fact they were turning back to make an emergency landing.
Unless, I suppose, this Fatima from Morocco was yelling into the phone and calling attn to herself...if a flight attendant saw this, I guess it's plausible the FA might have attempted to take the phone from her?
