Back home safely now, arrived in the states today after an 8 hr flight. Didn't see any fighter plane escorts with my flight. Security at Heathrow was definately increased. With everything that is going on, flying internationally on BA over the holidays was nerve racking, but well worth it in the end. I couldn't help but think of our young men and women soldiers in Iraq who put their lives on the line everyday in this war on terror. Seems not right for me to fret the risk of a few international airplane rides. But I loved England and will be back there again soon. Now I am going to bed. For a long while.
