I, for one, read the bridge and wire article a few days ago and could not make heads and tails of it. Now, with your second link on wire use for portble nukes, I can only say, hmmmmm. I see the bridge and wire report in a new light!

That's how I felt when I came across the other article.

Before I couldn't imagine why would anyone put that long thin wire on the bridge -- but learning that they need a long thin wire to keep the nuke powered before detonating, it gives a possibility, that maybe they did that in preparation.
