That's how I felt when I came across the other article.

Before I couldn't imagine why would anyone put that long thin wire on the bridge -- but learning that they need a long thin wire to keep the nuke powered before detonating, it gives a possibility, that maybe they did that in preparation.

Not to mention daleel's repeated references to "wire" in a series of posts about imminent attack 12/20-12-22.
