Good thought. I didn't think of the chemical possibility.

But green is a very symbolic color in the Islamic world.
For Muslims green is the color of the Prophet Mohammed. He himself declared it as his favourite color and wore a green coat and a green turban. Until today only his successors are allowed to wear a green turban. The holy Islamic flag is green and embroidered with gold. Mohammed is said to have carried this banner during the war which helped him to conquer Mecca. Many of the Arab flags have green in them; the Saudi flag is green with white writing if memory serves me correctly, and the Libyan flag is green as well.

re post no. 2614...Yes, and I've seen green flower designs and artistic works and pictures of green foliiage in "paradise" and green birds of various artistic renderings --- green fancy Arabic writing --- so, I don't get too turned on about green HOWEVER I will look more closely if green rings are symbolic of chemicals.
