Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

I've often noticed, and it has been discussed on this thread, how EOM spells "Amerikkkan". After years of watching video footage from the Mid-East, Saudi and other of those lovely places where they are protesting all things American, on the posters and banners that are shown, it is spelled "Amrika, Amreka, or Amrikka". I've seen many versions but, never "Amerikkka". The "e" after the "m" is nearly always omitted.

Does it mean anything? I haven't a clue. Just an observation.

I'm still researching this as it is puzzling. There was a group that claimed responsibility but has not been reported too much......here is an exerpt from article.

"A caller saying he represented a radical Islamist group in Yemen, Ansar el-Haq (Apostles of Truth) telephoned Agence France-Presse in Cairo to say the aircraft had been downed in an "attack."

The caller warned of future attacks against Air France flights unless the French government rescinded a law that bans Muslim students from wearing headscarves in public schools.

Although no evidence of terrorism has emerged, the relatively low altitude of the aircraft - about 1,600 metres - as it climbed away from Sharm el-Sheikh airport put it well within range of small, shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles.

"We cannot exclude either accident or criminal cause," Michel Wachenheim, head of France's Civil Aviation Authority, said yesterday.

Using such missiles, terrorists narrowly missed an Israeli charter aircraft shortly after takeoff in Kenya just over a year ago."

Also, I have wondered if it could have been a planned attack on Mubarak and Tony Blair with a disagreement in the cockpit or fight downing the plane. There are more questions than answers about this crash as is usally the case.

Roger, I got it. As a matter of fact I was sitting there waiting for EOM to post. EOM showed up in a post as expected exactly 2:37:04 (2 hours: 37 minutes and 04 seconds) past the 10 am EST minimal return time EOM had forcast in his last post at CN&V2.

EOM kept a "transmission" schedule. Schedules are important, even to an old Naval cryptologic tech like myself.

It's interesting to note that when you watch someone close enough you begin to be able to predict their behavior.

Rushmore Rocks, I am not a linguist, but I do I remember the spelling "Amerikkkan" as emerging from, or centering in, what I believe was a DOMESTIC anti-American-government movement in the mid-1990s.
