Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Can someone with U.S. citizenship have dual citizenship? I thought that to gain U.S. citizenship, you had to renounce citizenship in any other country. Of course you can become a "permanent resident alien" without becoming a citizen.

The essence of this piece is quite correct.

We're not even addressing the real problem.

The terrorists, Satan's workers, will succeed in delivering *another* major strike.

The USGOV doesn't get it, and won't even after the next major strike.

From the US standpoint, you have to choose (or at least you did as of a few years ago, laws may have changed) citizenship. Children born with dual citizenship have to opt for one or the other when they turn 18.

However, other countries don't see it that way. Egypt (which is the country that pilot is from) doesn't allow you to give up your Egyptian citizenship. Once you have it, you're stuck with it. Same way with many Islamic countries, and many third world countries.

Occasionally you'll have an American college kid who will return to the country where they were born and will immediately get pulled into the army. Not much the US can do about it - even though the kid is an American citizen the other country still considers him "theirs".

Course the dual citizenship can be used for a lot of duplicitious purposes which I guess would come in handy if you're up to no good.

I would like to say one more time, that the attack
that we are all expecting was due to occur in

exactly in with what we have experienced since 9/11.
The major attack and the coming of the Imam Mahdi
should have happened during Ramdan, but did not, after
all this is not the terrorists schedule, but Allahs.
Nevertheless, since they have publicly stated numerous
times that they will strike by Feb. 2, they must! They
have no choice, but to strike or face the devastating
moral and confidance loss that failing to complete
such an out right boastfull deed would include. There
is also the point that Bin laden said he saw himself
being martyred in the belly of the eagle in 2003, the
actual statement said this year, however, to Muslims
the year was 1424, which has not ended yet (ends Feb.
21). He may be martyred not in the traditional sense,
but much more in the sense that he will cease to Bin
Laden the man and become the immortal servant of Allah
the Imam Mahdi! Everything that I have laid out is
very pertinent and i am astounded that it was not
mentioned immediately after 9/11 that the Islamic year
1424 would be the beginning of the most treacherous
time period for Earth that we have ever experienced.
There is no rational that will stop religious zealots
from following through. So as time ticks slowly by I
too make the statement that we must prepare, the
evidence is a mountain against the US, we will be
attacked in 1424 on our homeland. Mark my word I would
put life on the line for that statement. i have
studied Islam, Jihad, Terrorism, Pschology, and the
Middle East to great lengths. The risks of non-action
by them in the year 1424 our simply unspeakable. They
will attack and it is impossible that we can stop them
all. The time draws ever nearer, and whether or not
EOM is real is of absolutely no difference for it is a
duty to confuse the infidels and decieve them, that is
what he has done, regadless of the exact date of hour
which the blood shall be spilt, one must realize that

such an out right boastfull deed would include" Sadly, I agree. I wonder if it would be helpful for us to try to decipher some of the more consistent threats. For example, they keep talking about poisoning an entire city's water supply. Where and how would different cities be vulnerable to this?

I, like you, probably do not have a sufficient shelter in my basement. I am not worried about the blast since I am about 20 miles from DC...the fallout is what I am concerned about since we are down wind. I have heard that at 20 miles windows may shatter (1megaton nuke) but the fallout will come (at 15 miles I believe) to us in an hour...so I have an hour of time to get where I need to go. But a concern that I have is about EMP that will kill car circuits and computers, etc... and if my car starts up, I may be stranded on the highway with everyone else that is trying to get out of DC. I was interested in buying a radio scanner to be able to get better info from fire and HAM radio and police, but again the EMP may kill my scanner. How may have CBs or HAM radios that could help guide people out of possible problem spots? Can freeper start a radio network in case if something like this happens?

Exactly, there is more and more evidence just by what they are doing and looking for that points to this threat as being real. It's not what they're saying but what they are doing!

They (HS) need to be more specific with us (the people). Look how well the Amber Alerts for missing kids work - because you enlist the power of millions of good citizens to be the eyes and ears of the cops. All this secretiveness on terrorism weakens our ability to nab the bad guys and shut them down. I'd also like to see them use a map concept for the color alerts - I suspect most of us would enjoy learning that we're really in condition green or blue (and have been throughout).

Good point on efficacy of Amber Alerts; same mindset could be used for terrorist threats...back to idea of coastwatchers from WW II.

So let's see... he married a woman in Canada and was a Canadian/Egyptian citizen, then for some reason they divorced and he then marries a U.S. citizen (guess on my part as I don't know that this woman is a U.S. citizen) and then becomes a U.S./Egyptian citizen. How intriguing. I wonder if his children in Canada knew of the wife in the U.S.?

I'm confused. Can you have a triple citizenship: Canadian/US/Egyptian?
