Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

Monday, November 3, 2003

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Let me get this straight (Aparrently you didn't)...morons(Personal insults for what?) on this thread are reporting "information" from a message board on another site from supposedly an Islamic radical? I thought Daleel was some fundamentalist web site(It is, perhaps you should research before popping off), and since it is but a message board, I wouldn't waste my time responding.(Fine, but why make a public announcement? Perhaps you mistakenly thought we cared?) Sounds like Freepers have been played like a fiddle.(And it sounds like you take yourself way too seriously)

Thanks for that, I had no such idea such a group existed.

I was deployed to NSGA, Naples, Italy for a full tour. I served in an ESM division within that command. I was assigned to be an Operations Watch Supervisor and all that implies. When I went for medical to get sub qualified hearing problems de-qualed me from boat riding. I was the only member of our crew, save senior officers, who did not ride surface combatants or boats. But I did become an expert parametric analyst and intelligence asset. I will visit that site. Thanks again.

If this is refering to the CN&V2 bbs, I would highy caution anyone from going there. It is a very dangerous place to visit, and under no circumstances should you post there.

Fair warning! Do not go there.

There are some other Freepers here who may have more to add to what I am saying.

Yemeni al-Qaida wing vows revenge for leader's death

SANAA, Yemen — The Yemeni wing of al-Qaida, in a statement published yesterday on an Islamic Web site, vowed to attack the United States to avenge the 2002 killing of its leader by a CIA drone aircraft.

The statement, which could not be authenticated, said Osama bin Laden's network had over the past year prepared a "devastating and crushing blow in the United States that will happen soon" in retaliation for the death of Ali al-Harthi, who was killed by a missile the pilotless CIA aircraft fired at his car in eastern Yemen.

'Computer bomb' intercepted en route to Tel Aviv

Jerusalem Post ^ | Jan. 26, 2004 | Margot Dudkevich

Hidden inside a computer screen, explosives that were to be used for a suicide bomb attack in Tel Aviv were retrieved by Israeli security forces operating along the Green Line, near the Israeli settlement of Elkana.

Acting on intelligence information received from a Palestinian terrorist captured last week in Nablus, Israeli security forces operating near Kafr A-Zawiya on Sunday retrieved the bag rigged with explosives, hidden inside a computer screen.

Ahmed Ibrahim Ashker,18, a Tanzim fugitive arrested by security forces on January 21, was to have perpetrated the attack which was planned by head of the Fatah Tanzim in the Balata refugee camp, near Nablus, Hisham Abu Hamdan, 22.

Ashker told investigators he was recruited two months ago by one of Hamdan's cell members and the day before his arrest he set out for Tel Aviv accompanied by other cell members who were to assist him in crossing into Israel.

Ashker revealed the route taken by the cell members, who after leaving Nablus traveled via the villages Azoun and Talat and reached Biddya, located near Elkana. The security fence has yet to be constructed in this part of the Green Line.

As the group prepared to leave Biddya, they spotted security forces deployed in the area and hid the bag rigged with explosives before fleeing.

Meanwhile, Hamas has offered Israel a 10-year truce if the Jewish state returns to the June 1967 lines and a Palestinian state is established with its capital in Jerusalem.

Hamas spokesman Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi told Reuters on Sunday that the organization had come to the conclusion it was "difficult to liberate all our land at this stage, so we accept a phased liberation.

"We accept a state in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. We propose a 10-year truce in return for [Israel's] withdrawal and the establishment of a state," he said from his hideout in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Rantissi added he did not expect Israel to respond favorably to the new suggestion, "when it has rejected the Palestinian Authority's offer for less land than what we are proposing".

On Monday, in the Gaza Strip, shots were fired at an Israeli vehicle traveling near the Kissufim crossing, the entrance to the Gush Katif settlement bloc.

In the West Bank in Jabel Shimali in Nablus, security forces arrested a Tanzim fugitive. South east of Jenin security forces arrested six Palestinian terror suspects.

Labyrinthos that link had nothing to do with CN&V2 bbs, it is a thread from an article from the Jerusalem Post. See my above post.

At least one weapon of mass destruction - a sodium cyanide bomb capable of delivering a deadly gas cloud

Okay, now I have to interject something. JP, re: your mention of cloud, and Pro-bush, your mention of "Clouds Enterprise" (and Clouds Enterprise was mentioned earlier many posts back by someone).

Found that the term clouds in islam refers to one of the 4 ancient elements, which we in the West called Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. In islam, "clouds" is the term for "air".

I don't know if it means anything, or even what it could mean, but just thought I'd throw it out there.

This link has a little explanation of clouds and the quran.

Well I have no way of knowing whether Bin Laden is alive or dead, but remember how he used to do videos outside until our geologists identified the region by the type of rock & terrain? Then they started filming inside & there was all the analysis about his health & who else was in the shot. It's possible that they just decided they were giving away too much intel with video.

That's why I'm asking for the specifics on the danger. That was one of the sites I had visited on Friday morning, two days later, I receive three hack attempts within an hour or so. Could just be a coincidence.

Someone yesterday or the day before posted something about the word "hudna" (truce) and what it really means in the islamic world. Thought I'd check into that.

Not surprisingly there's a one-sided meaning to it. IOW, westerners try to abide by it, but moslems have another way of dealing with a truce. It's used as a time of re-grouping and re-arming, so that they can come back after the truce even stronger.

This picture showed up in an email from the 'KaRRoM' Yahoo! group yesterday.

Here is a translation of the Arabic text that captioned the picture.

The captain informs a delegate ( the homeland ) of their toll from the magic mysteries just after the end of the diving operation . And from it a wrapped mystery by human hairs inside a bottle
