I apologize, I was not aware of that at all, and if the 316 reference offended anyone, it was done out of ignorance and I truly apologize. I do not apologize because of my name though, even if a cult leader and the jimmy jones of the cowboy's share my name, it is still my name and I have no reason to feel guilty about it.
And how was this a democratic position. I thoiught it was a uniquely conservative idea whose time has come. I know the dems will lose in 2004, I'll vote against them. What more do you want?

I accept your apology at face value. No need to apologize for using your real name, but be aware that combining your name with a 316 reference will give an appearance of mocking Christians whether or not that is your intent. There is nothing "republican" or "conservative" about a regressive income tax. Trying to couch a regressive tax as a conservative idea is a losing proposition.
