Baked beans and tomatoes are a staple for English breakfast, among other things.

I've just been on the thread about the Green River Killer. A photo is posted and it's left me a bit rattled. He looks like a guy who asked for my assistance in a hospital parking lot in Portland, Oregon a few years ago. As I walked past he said he had locked himself out of his vehicle and asked if I could reach in through the partially open passenger window and pop the lock. I never forgot it. He was driving a red pickup truck and acted irked when I refused to stop.

(Arnold asked W for help and it rained the next day. Coincidence? I think not.)

It's the "among other things" that gets me...

None of the breakfasts at our B&B in London looked quite that appetizing, ds! The sausages were about 4 or 5 inches long, fat, and had an unusual flavor that didn't resemble our version at all, and the "bacon" was a fatty slab. Just for fun, I eschewed the various pork products and fried eggs one day, and had Weetabix cereal. Oh my gosh - it was like pressed sawdust in the shape of an Ivory soap bar! That's what I love about traveling - experiencing new flavors!

That should fuel you up with enough gas to enjoy yourself throughout the day.
