Who has time to watch TV when there's so much posting to do on FR?

...driven by ignorant populist rants...My, that sounds elitist...
If you don't like the program, there are other channels to watch.
Weren't you the guy who just posted that thread on slander? So slander's okay when a network does it? We should just change the channel?

You could charge your computer batteries at work, then do a dialup connection to post while your house sits black, lit only by lanterns powered by rendered animal fat which you did yourself.....

I have family members en route to France as we speak - I'll have them talk about the "boycott". Oh, you might want to check travel numbers as a whole before you ascribe too much meaning to what France went through.

can I have your brussel sprouts...I love them...yum yum! You can have all sprouts I've refused to eat since I was a little kid. I like almost all veggies but those evil brussels sprouts are numero uno on the list of stuff I won't eat.
Enjoy Mike's furlough and may God bless and protect him. :)

Brussel spouts are the ultimate food fight food. Small, compact, round, easy to throw with high accuracy.
Never understood eating them though.

I'm bumping this thread, but I'm not reading it.
Or replying to it.
Well, except for this, that is, but that's it.
OK, so it's a limited boycott. Except for this posting I'm not participating.
Except to read the replies.
But I'm only reading them with one eye.

Isn't the mark of a truly successful boycott the fact that it can be declared over and over again for each new outrage by the same participants form the last boycott?

Brussel spouts are the ultimate food fight food. Small, compact, round, easy to throw with high accuracy. Tater tots are good for that too. Especially the kind of loose ones that have the potential to "explode" on impact.

I won't bother with the author of this "Look at me!" thread, but your point begs the more interesting question...
I worked for ABC for 10 years, and have been involved in high profile and celebrity brand efforts for a number of years. Here's something I wrote to a similar 'know it all' regarding the "Dixie Chicks'" debacle...
Why FReeping Lipton and Unilever about the Dixie Chicks Is a Good Idea, and Why It's Effective
Boycotts are negative publicity, and when properly executed to demean a brand, are extremely effective.
