Kitty Caption XXV - Beware the Orange Cats (Humor/Meow Alerts)

Monday evening. Time for the kitty thread.
There appears to be something strange going around lately. Whatever it is, apparently orange cats are affected. They seem to have this uncontrollable craving for human fingers. Be careful as this picture shows.

Harmless kitten my "you know what". I see the kitty above learned this tactic from the adult cat shown below (also orange).

Don't let them sleep too much. If a ZOT thread is posted, some of my best Viking Kitty pictures end up on it. Good kitty thread material.

I love that picture! Thanks.

Looks like it to me. Although, I've heard Maine Coons are supposed to be very affectionate. This one looks like he has a major attitude going! LOL

It's the only Maine Coon cat that I have ever seen outdoors, but I can't think of any other breed that big, with a mane, that isn't wild...and despite its facial expression, that cat is not wild.

The few Maine Coons I've known were affectionate. However, they were also pretty self-centered. I don't see this as a nasty cat so much as a cat who is a practicing recreational dominatrix.

Thanks alot you guys, I've always wanted a coon cat and y'all are just feeding my desire. Now stop talkin' 'bout that beautiful animal! Did I not just say I got a kitten this week? As for you other posters, if you heartless people keep putting up these adorable pictures, I'll be in violation of my city code. Oops, I've got ducks, so I think I already am... Never mind.

Hey, I live in the woods and cats come knocking at my back door for food and shelter. It's as if I have a sign: Sucker for Cats out there. We only have four cats because all the beggars were female and all want to be queen of the jungle. So the rest find homes or shelter at the ASPCA or we all suffer the wrath of four feisty female felines.
What did you get for a kitten? It isn't a duck herder, is it?

What did you get for a kitten? I got an expensive couch for her personal scratching post, I got more vet bill (shots and eventually, spay), I got canned cat food (seems she's not used to the dry yet), I got my older cat's ire, I got to learn to keep my doors shut until she gets used to the fact that this is her home... is that enough? Oh, yeah and I got the never-ending love and devotion of my 15-year-old. (okay, so I just moved up one little notch with her, it's a slow process)

It's as if I have a sign: Sucker for Cats out there. I think I remember reading about how the (I'm being totally un-PC here) hobos used to have signs or marks they would leave to let their fellow travelers know where is a safe place to sleep, who's a soft touch for food, etc.
Maybe cats have that system going too?

You think I should paint the house and spray the foundation with Lysol?

But you like having the cats come visit you, don't you? We, who are owned by cats, are masochistic that way! LOL Besides, even if you painted and sprayed with Lysol, they'd find you out again.
To: sciencediet
that's better! remember your place.....
To: iceskater
But you like having the cats come visit you, don't you? Yes, you are right again. I really hated giving up that yellow tabby boy, but the girls wouldn't allow it and terrorized us all.
It's the fact that they aren't dependent; cats choose to stay with you or not and I find that more complimentary than most other pets who are utterly dependent.
