A gynecologist decided to quit, and become a car mechanic. He took a mechanics' course, and did the mechanics' union exam, and received the grade 105. The authorities were very mad at the tester for such an unusual grade, and inquired about it.
The tester explained: "He's a really good mechanic. I asked him to fill oil, and he did. I asked him to put in new filters, and he did. I asked him to clean the spark-plugs,and he did"
"So why didn't you grade him a 100, why 105?"
"'cause he did it all through the exhaust pipe".

Made it through the work week from heck and am now on vacation - Praise the Lord!

Wanted to share this "funny" sent to me from my sister:

Two boys are playing hockey on the pond on Boston Common when one is attacked by a vicious rottweiler. Thinking quickly, the other boy takes his hockey stick and manages to wedge it inside the dog's collar and twist, luckily breaking the dog's neck and stopping its attack.

A reporter who is strolling by sees the incident and rushes over to interview the boy.

"Young Bruins Fan Saves friend from Vicious Animal..." he starts writing in his notebook.

"But, I'm not a Bruins fan," the little hero replies.

"Sorry, since we're in Boston, I just assumed you were," says the reporter and starts again.

"Red Sox Fan Rescues Friend from Horrific attack..." he continues writing in his notebook.

"I'm not a Red Sox fan either!" The boy says.

"I assumed everyone is Boston was either for the Bruins or the Red Sox. So, what team do you root for?", the reporter asks.

I'm a Yankees fan!" the child beams.

The reporter starts a new sheet in his notebook and writes:

"Little B@st@rd from New York Kills Beloved Family Pet."

Spiders for the Dead

reaction ? Not yet
not angry
yet
not weeping
yet
nothing yet

but my mind is weaving spiders for the dead
and the spiders are weaving silk sheets

when I find a mood I'll get back to you
spiders for the dead, spiders for the dead
wondering what I would have done
spiders for the dead, spiders for the dead

dreaming of silk sheets and the spiders I create
soft grey bodies covering soft white bodies
cool silk and spiders on my skin
and spiders for the dead

There is a Navy guy and a Marine in the washroom. The Marine goes to leave without washing up. The sailor catches up with him later and says, "In the Navy, they teach us to wash our hands."

The Marine replies, "In the Marines, they teach us not to pee on ours!!!"

Some cannibals were recently hired by a big corporation. "You are all part of our team now," said the HR rep during the welcoming briefing. "You get all the usual benefits and you can go to the cafeteria for something to eat, but please don't eat any of the other employees."

The cannibals promised.

Four weeks later, their boss remarked, "You're all working very hard, and I'm satisfied with you. However, one of our secretaries has disappeared. Do any of you know what happened to her?" The cannibals all shook their heads no.

After the boss left, the leader of the cannibals said to the others, "Which one of you idiots ate the secretary?" A hand raised hesitantly, to which the leader of the cannibals continued, "You fool! For four weeks we've been eating managers and no one noticed anything, but nooooo, you had to go and eat the secretary!"
