as to your opinion of lawyers, or that of anyone else for that matter, i am really not hurt by it.

I know that not all lawyers are scum. I'm sure it is just the 95% or so that ruin it for the rest of them. ;)

hey, i despised at least 95% of my law school class, so i cannot disagree. but it does boggle my mind, some of the attitudes i see on FR. for people who are so suspicious of the overbearing power of the state, the prosecutorial power must be checked by a vigorous defense bar.
