Happy "Columbus Day" Everyone. I don't recall or care what names the left call it. I put the holiday in quotes because for most of us (myself included), today is NOT a holiday. No holiday for me; no holiday for the kitty thread. Time for the weekly picture.
Two pictures this week. First the more humorous one. This was found in a recent ZOT thread. It was posted by Admin Moderator and I was pinged to it by MEG33.
Let us not forget our brave soldiers still fighting in the Middle East. The thread linked below shows some of these pictures, including one featuring a feline friend. Dighton gets credit for calling this picture to my attention.

After six weeks' tests are through, we get progress reports. Real report cards come out right before Christmas at the end of the semester.
Fort Bend ISD passes out report cards at school, and you get your parents to sign it and you return it to your homeroom teacher. My last two years in high school, Fort Bend issued each student two copies of each report card - we figured one was for practice, and one was for changing the grades for real.
